Hey there! I’m Merrie!

My husband and I got married in March of 2017. When we got married we had just purchased a house and were unable to afford a honeymoon. We saved and saved and in the summer of 2018 we were able to take our first trip together to Europe. We feel in love with traveling and could not wait to explore more of the world! We discovered that travel did not have to be so expensive!

With a healthy budget and following some travel hacks and tips, I believe that anyone can travel! Here on the Merriement Blog I share our travels as long as the helpful tips and hacks we have learned along the way!

When not traveling, I work as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant helping children of all ages communicate! I also love just relaxing at home with my husband with our sweet puppy Woody.
